The Anti-Extinction Library is one of ten public artworks created for TED Countdown - a global initiative to bring attention to the accelerating climate crisis, and find solutions. The sculpture is a prototype for a series of seed vaults to be distributed around the world. Made using biodegradable materials, the Anti-Extinction Library is designed to decompose, reintroducing archived seeds back into the environment in an effort to increase urban biodiversity.
